Since the beginning of time birds have always been given a certain level of respect and admiration. Only recently have we become ignorant of the various skills birds have.
Following the example of birds we can actually learn a lot about life and attaining success. That’s why through some critical thinking I have summarized the 3 of the most important things birds do that would benefit humans the most.
These 3 things if practiced will bring success into your life.
1. Optimize Your Sleep
If you can learn anything from the example of birds it should be this. Birds generally speaking wake before first light and are up and about for the daily dawn chorus. They then do what birds do for the rest of the day and are ready to sleep just before dusk.
This sleep cycle allows them to be very productive as they fully utilize all of the light hours. They also don’t oversleep, but rather sleep just as much as required to continue living healthily.
You should try control and optimize your sleep as well.

2. Be Goal Oriented
Birds are great at this. They are always working towards some goal. Every day when they wake they always wake with a short term goal in mind. Get Food. They work and work and are very persistent until they reach this goal.
Once they achieve their short term goal they continue working on their long term goals, such as building their nests and finding a mate. They once again are very persistent and don’t stop until they achieve their goal, over how long a period of time. Their entire life is goal oriented.
You should try to make as much as goals as possible and follow through on them. This goal setting will allow you to structurally break down task and reach all of your ambitions.
Without goals, and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination. – Fitzhugh Dodson
3. Have a Routine
Birds follow a set routine throughout their life. It is this routine that allows them to be so productive and successful as they become so practiced in it.
This same rule applies to Humans. Humans are the most efficient when they follow the same general routine. This allows humans to be focused and dedicated towards whatever they are doing. Having a routine is vital to achieving success but just don’t get too caught up into it. You should follow the same general routine everyday but not follow the exact same routine every day.
