“Without new experiences, something inside us sleeps. The sleeper must awaken.”
It’s quotes like these by Frank Herbert that make me remember why I want to see the world. We are a mere speck of dust on this earth, but we stick to our surroundings, we stay within our comfort zones while there is an entire world out there to discover. Whether it be due to comfort levels, being too busy, having a family or just not being able to afford it, there are so many excuses we find to not travel.
But why not take the risk? Why not get out of your comfort zones? Why not stop letting others make excuses for you and travel the world? There’s so much out there in the world to see, that pictures cannot do justice. It’s one thing to see pictures of the Niagara Falls, it’s another to stand right next to them, feel the breeze on your skin and hear the powerful roar of the falls. It’s one thing to see pictures and documentaries on the Grand Canyon, it’s another to stand there and experience how small you feel in its presence.
Keeping that in mind, I have put together a list of my favorite travel quotes that hopefully can inspire you to travel too.
